Search begins for Britain’s top black business leaders
Nominations are open up for this year’s Black British Company Awards, an yearly occasion that celebrates the achievements of some of the country’s leading corporate bosses and business owners.
Now in its eighth calendar year, the awards emphasize “commercial excellence” amid black specialists in 6 spots: arts and media buyer and luxurious start out-ups economical expert services skilled expert services and STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths).
A “rising star” and “senior leader” award will be offered for each individual category through a digital ceremony in October.
Sophie Chandauka, co-founder of the awards, claimed: “This is a neighborhood that has remained resilient and centered on contributing to the United kingdom overall economy in the experience of a pandemic, racial unrest and personalized suffering. This is our time to reward and recognise these unsung heroes.”
