Nicaragua Veers to Dictatorship as President Holds Election the U.S. Calls ‘Sham’

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica—Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, working for a fourth consecutive phrase following imprisoning 7 rivals, is widely expected to earn an election on Sunday witnessed as a sham by the U.S. and opponents.
