As Christensen places it: “What workloads have in frequent is that they all require somewhere to operate! But when you evaluate the infrastructure frequently folks get in a posture exactly where they do not have the suitable CPU, or sufficient memory.
“Often folks pool all the means then cross their fingers, as they have ten workloads on it. When they all peak, which is not superior sufficient! So they want 25 per cent much more, but that might be pointless. You could use a consumption-based design, so when you don’t use means, you don’t shell out for them.”
