China and India Pull Back From Himalayan Standoff
NEW DELHI—India and China have started pulling back some of their troops from a standoff in disputed border areas in the Himalayan mountains, adhering to current talks concerning senior armed service leaders and diplomatic attempts to relaxed tensions, according to an Indian stability official.
Chinese troops have moved back many miles from the entrance line at a few disputed border-patrol factors in one particular of the areas, the stability official mentioned.
