Black British Business Awards announce 2021 finalists

Finalists have been unveiled for this year’s Black British Business Awards, an yearly celebration that celebrates the achievements of some of the UK’s leading company bosses and business people.

Now in its eighth year, the awards emphasize “exceptional business enterprise talent” across six industries: arts and media purchaser and luxurious start off-ups monetary companies expert companies and STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths).

Amongst the 39 businesspeople shortlisted are Taponeswa Mavunga, director of Africa at Sony Tunes Uk, Akima Paul-Lambert, litigation associate at Hogan Lovells, and Edgar Chibaka and Jamal Tahlil, co-founders of Leeds-dependent protection firm 1st Reaction Team.

Segun Osuntokun of regulation firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner was named black British businessperson of 2020 at final year’s ceremony.
